Happy Half Birthday Haws!

For Haws' birthday last September I gave him tickets to a Kings Hockey Game. Thanks to Ali who hooked us up with great seats to the game of his choice. It ended up being a day game which turned out to be perfect since I had a wedding reception to attend that night (shocker!) and Haws was suppose to fly out to Utah to see his nephew Thor receive his baby blessing. Long story... but he ended up never making it off the ground thanks to a JetBlue mess up. I was ashamed to say that I once worked for the airport and airline that caused him to spend his whole night being bussed back and forth between Long Beach and Burbank only to come home at 5am in the morning with not much to show for. Anyway... the game was 6 months after his birthday, which actually made it a half birthday celebration. Unfortunately the Kings lost... no big surprise there considering their record this season. We had a great time none the less :) Jen, Phil (Haws' childhood hockey buddy) Haws and me

Go KINGS! Loyal fans.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the game, even with the huge Jetblue mess. Say hi to Jen and Phil for me next time you see them.

Fun night! (The game, not the plane!) Does Haws still play hockey?

Yes... Haws still plays hockey. He is the goalie in adult league and I have to say he is really good :)
As for the flight. He got the flight refunded and a voucher for the cost of the flight. It still doesn't seem like enough to me though. We will see if JetBlue comes through with some better customer service.
