Every year Ellen has a mothers day show with an audience full of first time expectant mothers. I have known people who have been in the past and always thought it would be awesome! Luckily, little James is due mid June, which made me a candidate for this years show. I scouted the website everyday to see when they were taking applicants and the second I saw it, I applied. I got a call literally 15 min later and was on the show! I was so excited, I am sure my neighbors heard me screaming :)
You see, Ellen gives all the pregnant girls in the audience a whole lot of baby loot! Haws was especially excited for the financial benefit of going on the show. I took my cousin who flew in from Utah and I had other friends that got on so it was fun having a group of us. Me and another girl were "big" enough to sit in the "ready to pop section" and sat in the front row. So you might be able to see us on TV.
It was so much fun and here is some of the stuff we got. The rest is being ordered and shipped.
We did get a stroller, a really cool high chair and 6 months of free diapers!
No car seat or crib this year, I think the companies couldn't give as much this year as they have in the past, but I am so grateful for the things we did get!

I watched for you while I was getting ready for the day but I didn't see you!! I was excited about the stuff you got, though. What's up with those "jean" diapers. Totally bizarre! I really want that high chair. I'm so glad you got to go. YOu look so cute in your SLO pics. What a fun trip.
I totally missed the show. I totally forgot about it and I wanted to see it to see what you would get! Looks like they hooked you up!! I'm so excited to hear what you think about all those products. That tub looks so cool!

I saw you twice when I watched the show. That was awesome you got to be in the front row! It was so so much fun, and I think my favorite thing is the high chair.
p.s. I need to come bring your shower gift by... maybe this next week sometime?

That is so awesome that you got to get on. I want to do that when I get pregnant ;) I can't believe you are only 2 weeks ago. Your nursery is so cute!!
Hey- This is random but I found your blog when I googled "Ellen Mother's Day Teutonia." I was also at the show- wasn't it the most fun?
Random question- have you gotten your stroller yet? I ordered mine on May 10th and they said to allow 6 weeks for delivery (which would be this Monday (the 21st.) It hasn't shown up yet. I know I still have 2 more days before it is officially late, but I'm just a little worried that maybe it is lost in the mail somewhere. Just let me know if you don't mind :)
