I planted a garden back in Oct of 2010. We have a very small plantar, so I did what I could with it. Half is flowers, the other half consists of beets, cabbage and broccoli. The broccoli plant has grown pretty well, but I haven't seen any heads of broccoli... until today. I saw the first sign of a floret. I got very excited. I can't wait until more of the vegetables have grown and we can enjoy the "fruits of our labor".

That planter looks beautiful! I bet that your vegetables will be delicious. My boys will be happy to come and pick weeds for you this August!
