I was looking back at James' 10 month post and realized how much Davis and James are they same in their development at this age... but they definitely have their own little personalities!
Davis is my sweet, happy boy, but he has a sensitive side too. He gets really sad when a toy gets taken away from him (usually from his older brother). His cry is so sad. He sounds like his feelings are so hurt. Below is an example. This time I took a phase 10 card away from him. He loves paper and will destroy it in seconds, so I had to save the card.
Davis is starting to pull himself up on things. He goes for the stairs any chance he gets (luckily he can't climb up more than the first step). He also loves the couch and his activity table. He has only pulled himself up to standing a couple of times, mostly he just pulls up to his knees.
Davis constantly has his tongue out. It is the cutest little tongue ever! He is drooler and an army crawler just like his big brother was.
After Christmas, we had about 4 weeks straight of sickness in our house. Unfortunately for Davis he was sick for almost the whole 4 weeks. So during that time, I ended up on antibiotics and Davis was not nursing well, so my milk supply decreased. Seemed like a good time to start weaning, so we are in the process of doing that now. I am down to about 2 feedings a days and he takes either stored breast milk or formula.
Davis is almost 19 lbs and not sure his height right now.
He is a little chatter box and his baby sounds sound so much like words at times. He says mama and dada when he sees me and Haws. He loves raising his hands up over his head when we say he is "so big!". He does this cute little routine when he is crawling. He will roll onto his side, wave hi and then sit himself up and flap his arms up and down in excitement. He loves the bath and loves splashing in the bath even more. Davis is a great eater. Loves eating "big boy food" cut up into little pieces and will still down his baby food. Still sucks his thumb when he is going to bed. He is in the middle of a wonder week period and has been waking up in the night. Not fun, I am hoping he goes back to his normal routine soon. Mommy needs some sleep! He still has no teeth, so maybe he is working on those as well? We will see.
