The weekend after Christmas the kids and I drove back to CA to visit one more time before the baby comes. We were able to celebrate a Christmas with my parents and John and Brad's families.
It was weird being visitors to CA and not having it be home. It was so nice to be back and see everyone again. We had a delicious dinner and opened gifts, which is always a crazy experience with all the kids!
These boys got promoted to the adult table!
After dinner the kids cuddled up with Bop and watched some TV. I love this pic.
I love this picture even more! Check out my dad's pants.
We looked for the pickle on the tree. The adult kids got a try (I found one!) and then the kids got a turn. This was my attempt to get a picture with the cousins.
Even though their home is under construction, Brooke hosted a cookie decorating party at her house! Here is Robin and I. Due a week apart, but on the same day thanks to my scheduled c-section. A little update though... Robin developed cholestasis which meant she had to deliver at 37 weeks. Elizabeth Rose was born healthy on Feb 4th. That means our little man will be here soon!
We visited with the Leckey's and the Man's kids at the spectrum. I love Davis' face here.
We were lucky enough to get to spend some time with the Neser family. We went to see the Naples lights on New Years eve. James was happy to be reunited with Jay. I was asleep by 9:30pm that night. Party animal.
We went to Froggs bounce house with Carrie and her boys. The lady in the back ground is awesome.
After 2 failed attempts to go to Benihanas for my birthday in Utah, I made it while we were in CA. This was a fun bunch to go with. You can always talk Brooke into a trip to Benihana.
It was Jay's birthday while we were in town and he had a bowling party. This was James' first time bowling. He loved it! I am now excited that we can add this to our indoor Utah activities :)
Our last night in CA, Monte came over a the kids watched a movie. Davis and Monte are so cute together. They both are so cuddly. James of course enjoyed his time staying at Nana and Bops house. We miss both sets of grandparents a ton!
This is a video that James and Lily Quack made while we were at the Wackerman's house. A home that was made for making music :)
I am so grateful that my mom drove back to Utah with us. It made leaving CA a little easier. The boys were great both coming and going on our trip. They better get use to it because we will be making this trip often.
