I love this picture of Christ and his "little ones". I have this picture in both of the rooms for the kids. I look at it and I am reminded how special children are to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and how privileged I am to have 3 of his children in our home to raise. Kids can drive you crazy and they definitely come with a whole lot of challenges as well as blessings. I can get frustrated and easily upset by things my kids do and say, but if I could just look at this picture all day, I am sure I could easily dismiss those feelings. Maybe I need this picture all over the house!
Calvin has become very aware of the things going on around him. Something I think is so special is how he stares at this picture that hangs on the wall behind the glider in the nursery. I wasn't sure if I loved where I hung the picture, but now I know it is in the perfect place. When I put Calvin on my chest to burp him, he gazed right at the picture. I swear he know who it is. He will just stare at Jesus and smile or babble. The veil is so thin with these little ones.
I have not been great about taking monthly picture of Calvin. So I have to find pictures I have taken of him that I know are around that month mark. Here he is with sweet little Elizabeth. Calvin and Lizzy where due to arrive on the same day! Due to complications with Robin's pregnancy, she had to have Lizzy at 37 weeks. So Lizzy got to come before Cal. Here they are together when the Orvin's came to Utah. I was so excited to meet her and see these two together. Lizzy is all girl. I love the way Robin dresses her so feminine. I am sure Calvin will have a crush on her at some point through out the years.
