Heat Wave

No... I am not talking about the weather. I am talking about the Transformer.
James has really gotten into Transformers and Ninja Turtles in the last 6 months. He had never even seen the cartoons... just the toys. So I introduced him to the 80's cartoons of both the Transformers and Ninja Turtles. I figured they would be more appropriate. He likes them, but still prefers watching the season on Dinosaur train over and over again!
Since he saw the Transformers cartoon, he has be introduced to more characters and also Rescue Bots. We started some group swim lessons and on the first day all the kids got in the pool and the teachers asked each of them their name. When she asked James he replied "Heat Wave" with out batting an eye. As the week went on he was various characters, but I just laugh every time I think of him saying his name was Heat Wave. The teacher thought it was pretty funny too.
That following Sunday, I had to take Calvin out of sacrament to feed him and left Haws with the 2 boys. He decided to go up and bare his testimony with both kids (I wish I could have witnessed it) and after he was done James said that he wanted to bare his too! I am still mad I missed this. So he stood up to the pulpit and said "I'm and excavator!" Really loud of course. Haws had to translate and then do the whole whisper in the ear, to finish off the testimony. A little back story, earlier that week, James had decided he was an excavator, I was a bulldozer, Haws was a roller, Davis was a back hoe loader and Calvin was a digger. For a day or so he called us by these names.
James has a huge imagination and it is so fun to hear him play. He cracks me up!
