How can a year go by so quickly?? And why does it take me 2 months to write one little post?
Oh yeah... maybe it's the 3 busy little boys running around and the little baby in my belly that has been sucking up all my physical and mental energy. More about that later. This post is for you my sweet Calvin!

Calvin is at such a fun age. Because he hasn't started walking... (or even close to it!) He is still fairly easy, which is such a blessing. At the age of one he has a great sense of humor. Laughs a lot. Loves his brothers. Is definitely on the move even with out wanting to be on his feet. He is a fast little crawler and has quick movements. He is a champ when it comes to eating! The only thing that slows him down are colds and getting teeth. Otherwise... he eats pretty much anything and a lot of it! Calvin shows me lots of love and affection. He tries to eat my face still, gives the best cuddles and looks at me with a face of admiration. It sure makes me feel good. The best is when I walk into his room in the morning or after naps he sits up and with a big grin on his face, starts to clap! I will be sad when I don't get this reaction anymore. He still takes an hour morning nap and a 2-3 hour afternoon nap. He is a good sleeper, but will still have random waking at night due to being sick or teething.

This winter he has been hit with cold after cold. He unfortunately was sick on his birthday and we didn't do much to celebrate. We took him out for dinner and dessert the night of his birthday and then celebrated with cake on the weekend with family. He even had his Nana and Bop here to celebrate which is always a treat! He was pretty tired when it was time for cake and wasn't that into it. He has since gained a new appreciation for sweets and will dive into a cake no problem!

Calvin's nick name is "Cutie Boy". Something his brothers named him. He wears it well. We all love this Cutie Boy so much! I can't imagine life with out him.
