This is my dad...

I saw my dad today and asked him "what's new"? As usual, he said "ah, nothing. Same old, same old" with a smile. If you know my dad, you know how he will always greet you with a calming smile and ask how you are doing. He always wants to talk more about you than himself and somehow, no matter how much you (or me) can talk about the nonsense in our lives... he will listen with out even mentioning the fact that he had dinner with the Lakers or golfed with Clint Eastwood. He just is not one to brag. So when my mom sent me some pictures of march events... these showed up! My dad didn't even tell any of us about this night. In fact... it was the photographer from my wedding that told me he saw my dad on the jumbo-tron at the Laker vs Clipper game. When I asked my dad about it, he said "Oh, didn't I tell you?" No! He didn't even tell my mother! This is just one of the perks about being Bob Davis. He gets all these hook ups to have these awesome experiences, but never rubs them in anyones face. Maybe that is why he keeps having them.
Dad hanging out on the court with Kobe and Fish.
Bob Davis- the MVP Captain of the Game.

And if you know my dad, you know he doesn't go far with out his side kick Allen. Allen didn't care to much about the basketball players. He was smart enough to hang out with what I like to call "The Clipper Strippers" :)

Thank you Lori for those kind words about your Dad. It made him a little "teary eyed". He is the greatest, even though he never tells me anything!

I love your dad and Al too. And I know my family does too, esp. my brothers. Those are some great pictures. I can't believe (well, yes I CAN believe it) the he didn't tell anyone about the Laker's thing!
