Easter Bunny and Discovery Science Museum

I took James to see the Easter Bunny at Fashion Island the week before Easter. I wasn't sure how he would react to the bunny, but he loved him! While we were waiting in line, he was trying to cut so he could get up closer to the bunny. 

He even gave him a high five.

Haws had Good Friday off of work, which was awesome!!! So we planned a family outing to Discovery Science Museum to see the bubblefest. They wouldn't let us take pictures in the bubblefest, but it was pretty awesome. The only downside of the day was it was super crowded due to spring break. 

There were all sorts of activities inside for kids to do. James loved the slides and Haws loved the Hockey simulation room.

Easter morning the Easter bunny brought James a new Thomas the train with a train track. He loved it!

I was a horrible Easter Bunny this year. After being up early with Davis, I went back to bed. I had planned to make a yummy breakfast and set out the Easter baskets with a little hunt. But no... Haws gave me the gift of sleep. I am such a lucky girl...  he even made German Pancakes for breakfast and set out an Easter basket for me! I was able to get James' basket together while he was eating breakfast and he didn't even notice. I know next year I might not get off so easy, so I better get it together by then.
