Right when we got home from CA, we all headed up to Park City to celebrate my grandma Alene's 90th bday! It was so much fun having all the family together. My Aunt's, Uncle's and all of the cousins were there. It is the first time we have all been together in years! Kori and little Evyn were the only ones who couldn't make it.
We had a dinner the first night with all the adults. It was so nice. Each child and grandchild said a few words about how special out grandma is to us. It was touching to hear from everyone. It was a really nice night... and nice to be kid free :)
We stayed at the Marriott right by the alpine slides. It was perfect! Everyone could walk over to the slides whenever they wanted to.
I was bummed because I couldn't ride the slides. They almost let me on, but then someone said they discouraged pregnant women to ride. So I decided I should sit it out this time... which meant Haws got to ride twice with both James and Davis.
Calvin enjoyed his first snow cone after the rides. I think he liked it :)
I LOVE these pictures of the boys going down the coaster. Haws has the same expression and you can tell how the boys felt about the ride. Despite his face, Davis actually did have fun on the coaster... he was just a little more nervous about how fast they were going. I laugh just looking at his face.
Didn't my grandparents make the best looking kids? I love this group so much. They are such great examples to me of love, service, humility, kindness, generosity and most of all fun!
Calvin had fun hanging around the other babies. Calvin loves baby Jane and that Norman is the cutest "little" thing!
We spent the last night having a dinner to celebrate grandma. There was a slide show with pictures of her life. It made me really miss my grandpa... they created such a beautiful life together. I think everyone was missing him too. But the night was great. All of the great grand kids sang the grandmother song to her. It was really cute.
The kids found all sorts of things to do after dinner. I got the idea to have them roll down one of the hills like we use to on the golf course at my grandparents house. I may or may not have done a cartwheel to show off a little. I decided I won't do that again when I am 7 months prego!
